While boozing and shopping is not a typically recommended combination, an exception can be made if you're spending your (hopefully not too drunken) dough on local talents. To help Angelenos get their simultaneous fix of hops and shopping, DTLA's fashion-loving Angel City Brewery and boho e-boutiqueRaven Gypsies are hosting a new weekly Beer Bazaar featuring LA artists and makers.
Now in its second weekend, the just-launched pop-up marketplace takes place every Sunday from 1pm to 8pm. Expect to find spiritual-minded trinkets and unique accoutrements from Raven Gypsies, Sour Girls and Ether Jewelry; eco-cool clothing by craft fair regulars Chop Siouxy; edgy pop-inspired tees by Black Brain LA; organic essential oils and more by Chrysalis Natural Therapeutics and more handmade wares from a revolving lineup of local artisans.

As grocery markets, department stores and pretty much any retail establishment outside our front doors have kindly reminded us,
winter gift-giving season is coming. (Halloween, what?) If you're stoked about Westwood's artsy pop-upvillage next month, Echo Park's newest indie craft market, LA Salt, might be a good prezzie shopping spot to add to your November hit list.
Taking place Sunday, November 3rd from 12pm to 5pm at Pehrspace, the Eastside marketplace will offer tons of vintage and handmade apparel, home goods, stationery, fine art, furniture, artisanal food and more. Standouts include eco chic clothing by Chop Siouxy, boho cool accessories from Earthling Jewelry, vegan skincare by House of Aquarius, and tons of other crafty goods from top local talents—all priced at around $50 or less. In addition, the fine folks at Umami Burger will be on hand to refuel shoppers mid-spree.
